Our history
The Hulton Institute was founded in the late 1990s as a private collective of European and American professionals based in New York, united by a desire to share ideas, trends, methodologies and innovations of various kinds within the professional sphere.
From the very beginning, the project has been based on the principle of mutual enrichment: members share their expertise through an exchange of lessons and specialist knowledge, with the aim of broadening their horizons, developing new skills and fostering dialogue between different professional and cultural experiences.
From knowledge exchange to training
In the early 2000s, the collective’s approach gradually evolved towards the provision of private tuition, giving rise to increasingly structured training programmes. Its activities expanded to include courses aimed at small groups and specific professional niches, whilst maintaining a focus on personalised learning and the transfer of specialist skills.
From its very inception, Hulton has maintained a strong connection with distance learning, recognising online learning methods and, subsequently, digital technologies as essential tools for making training accessible beyond geographical boundaries.
A new international vision
In 2024, the Hulton Institute was formally acquired by a private Italian company specialising in online education. This new phase gave rise to a brand renewal project, which celebrates the institute’s roots whilst redefining its identity in a contemporary and international key.
This officially marks the birth of Hulton Institute New York, the culmination of an evolutionary journey that combines experience gained over time with a modern vision of specialist education.
Hulton Institute today
Today, Hulton Institute New York offers specialist international courses and longer-term Master’s programmes, covering a range of study areas and professional fields.
The educational offering is rooted in a tradition born of the sharing of knowledge and developed through pedagogical innovation, with the aim of providing flexible, specialised learning opportunities geared towards an increasingly international professional context.
